Share Your Knowledge & Have an Impact
Workshops
Workshops provide a time to present our collective resources and knowledge to elevate and advocate for Experiential Education. The value of sharing what you know through a workshop or professional development intensive can have a far-reaching impact.
See the preview of over 80 workshops we're thrilled to offer in 2024!
Because of the collaborative nature of our field, presenters find that through the process of sharing their expertise they gain new insights themselves. Being a presenter is also an excellent way to build your professional résumé and speaker profile.
While every annual conference is filled with keynotes, plenary sessions, and other events and activities, workshops are the foundation and the fulcrum from which attendees and presenters alike are able to rejuvenate and sustain momentum in this great work.
Workshops Due April 26. The Submission Window Has Closed.
We appreciate your time and attention to this proposal. AEE workshop presenters are volunteers who are not compensated for their workshops and therefore, we are grateful that you are willing to share your knowledge with this community. Our expectations are that these workshops will be of high quality and will serve to open the door to new ideas, provide new perspectives on existing ideas or provide opportunities to explore ideas in a unique way.
Need inspiration on what to present? See what our 2023 attendees said they would like to see in 2024.
To further support your proposal submission, please refer to the Workshop Resource Guide.
Please note there is a different application for Symposium on Experiential Education Research Presentations and for Recorded Workshop Sessions.

*NEW FOR 2024! PRE-RECORDED WORKSHOPS
For the Pre-Recorded workshops, we are asking that you present your content in a pre-recorded format to be available to virtual conference attendees on demand. These presentations will not be live or hybrid, but online only as pre-recorded sessions. We hope that by having a library of recorded sessions, we can engage people who are unable to join us in person in Colorado.
Symposium on Experiential Education Research (SEER)
The Symposium on Experiential Education Research (SEER) provides an outlet and venue for researchers in the field of experiential education to present, share, dialogue, and further develop their research ideas each year at the International Conference.
Proposals for moderated and traditional sessions describing original empirical and conceptual research in the area of experiential education are now being solicited. 2024 SEER will consist of traditional presentations, poster presentations, and moderated sessions to increase practitioner-researcher collaboration and highlight current research in the field of experiential education.
