Workshops

Workshops provide a time to present our collective resources and knowledge to elevate and advocate for Experiential Education. The value of sharing what you know through a workshop or professional development intensive can have a far-reaching impact.

Because of the collaborative nature of our field, presenters find that through the process of sharing their expertise they gain new insights themselves. Being a presenter is also an excellent way to build your professional résumé and speaker profile.

While every annual conference is filled with keynotes, plenary sessions, and other events and activities, workshops are the foundation and the fulcrum from which attendees and presenters alike are able to rejuvenate and sustain momentum in this great work.

90-Minute & 3-Hour Workshops

We are grateful that you are willing to share your knowledge with this community. Our expectations are that these workshops will be of high quality and will serve to open the door to new ideas, provide new perspectives on existing ideas or provide opportunities to explore ideas in a unique way. 60-Minute First-Timer Workshops

Is this your first time ever presenting at a professional conference? Are you hoping to get feedback on how to better your presentation in the future? Want to strengthen your presentation skills?
This year, we're offering an entire 60-minute workshop block dedicated ONLY to first-time, feedback-seeking presenters! Whether you are presenting in a group, as an individual or with a co-presenter, this is your chance to present to the community and receive constructive feedback. The presentations are recommended to be around 45 minutes in length, with 15 minutes at the end allocated for Q&A and feedback from workshop attendees. First-time presenters are also encouraged to submit to the 90-minute/3-hour workshops, but the 60-minute option is specifically for first-timers who would like to "workshop" their workshop with the AEE community. Pre-Recorded Virtual Workshops

These presentations are 30 & 60-minute online pre-recorded sessions. We hope that by having a library of pre-recorded sessions, we can engage those who are unable to join us in person. PROPOSALS DUE WEDS, APRIL 23RD 11:59PM EST (USA) SUBMIT
