How to Use the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Field Guide

The time is now to more formally address the issues of social justice and DEIB work within AEE and our respective members and organizations. Sky Gray, Christine Norton & Rita Yerkes show best uses of the Field Guide.

We will introduce and update participants on the impact of the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB)  Field Guide. We will create brave space together and facilitate the use of the field guide experientially. You will be invited to share stories from the field regarding your own personal experiences and observations of issues of (DEIB) in outdoor/experiential education settings. Your practice wisdom, cultural worldview, and historical perspective are gifts that the Association for Experiential Education and our allied professions would like to hear about and grow from.
